The Red Knight Foundation is where parents, students, alumni, and members of the community come together to make North Fort Myers High School a better place to work and learn.
North High aims for success, and we do too. Our goal is to make North a better place than ever before for teachers and students. These efforts will help teachers get access to supplies they need, make the school even more beautiful, and help push students forward.
We are committed to enhancing the educational experience and environment for North Fort Myers High School students. You can help too when you visit our meetings at the school, on every fourth Tuesday at North High. You're also invited to attend our events and spread the word about us!
The Red Knight Foundation would love to hear from you. You can contact us by email at email@example.com. You can also find us on Facebook.
Dear Parents, Alumni, and Community Supporters, It is with great excitement that I share with you as we enter Year 2 for the North Fort Myers Red Knight Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. This means we operate as a non-profit organization created for the purpose of enhancing the educational environment for students. The Foundation is overseen by a board of local community volunteers, parents, and school representatives whose primary purpose is to guide the Foundation and help secure resources that support the mission. I am often asked, “What does the Red Knight Foundation do?” My answer is “a whole bunch of stuff!” To accomplish our mission we have four major focuses. They are: 1. We provide classroom grants to teachers and student organizations at North Fort Myers High School. Last year we supported nearly 20 of these grants and are looking to increase that number this year!2. We recognize teachers and students for their efforts. From kicking off the school year with an ice cream celebration for our teachers to new initiatives we have planned this year; we look for every opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of our teachers and students.3. We help support capital improvement projects. The Foundation Board recently met and is currently working with the School District and Administration to launch an exciting new project that will enhance the school for years to come. Stay tuned!4. We develop sustainable support through our Alumni. We have launched a registration process on our website for Alumni and community supporters to register. Additionally, we are establishing a new committee to help coordinate this effort along with our community partners. The goal is to build a long term network of Alumni who want to contribute their time, treasure, and talents to North Fort Myers High School. I encourage everyone reading this to get connected to the Foundation by either Liking us on Facebook or regularly visiting our webpage at www.redknightfoundation.org. Your support can have a great impact on helping us fulfill our mission of “enhancing the educational environment for students and teachers!” With appreciation, Andrew C.
